Planned Proactive Care
A new primary care led initiative supporting people with long term conditions such as diabetes or heart disease. Patients with more complex needs deserve a well-co-ordinated, proactive approach to their needs. A designated care coordinator working in partnership to develop and support a patient led goal based care plan.
We offer all childhood vaccines under the New Zealand immunisation schedule. We can also provide seasonal influenza, chicken pox, shingles, pneumococcal and travel vaccines, for adults and children alike.
Travelling can cause unexpected health issues. We offer various travel vaccines, malaria prophylaxis and health consults, to ensure you’re well prepared on any overseas adventures.
We offer dermoscopy assessments and minor surgeries for simple lumps, bumps and skin cancers. Our doctors are also trained in IUD/Mirena insertion and vasectomies. We are also able to provide nitrogen cryotherapy treatments.
As General Practitioners, we aim to address your health needs within primary care working alongside specialist services in a seamless way. We aim to be are able to refer you to various public and private specialist services within the New Zealand health system. This is completed on a case-by-case basis.
Resthome and Palliative Care
Our doctors are experienced in providing care for the elderly and palliative care. We provide medical consults to the neighbouring Summerset village and palliative care in conjunction with Totara Hospice. Our doctors are able to provide home visits on a case-to-case basis.
Allied Health and Home Help Coordination
We work alongside a variety of allied health providers including Midwives, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Dieticians, Psychologists in the region to provide you comprehensive care. We can also recommend a range of services for those who want to keep living independently in the community.

Dr. Anitha Nair
Doctor Anitha Nair is an experienced General Practitioner and enjoys working in a smaller, family practice with the opportunity to get to know patients and their families well, thanks to an excellent bed-side manner and warm, caring personality.
Dr. Nair has been working at a family practice in the local community for over a decade and has experience working in both New Zealand and Australian hospitals. During this time, Dr. Nair has built expertise in women’s, sexual health, accident and medical care.
“I have a particular interest in mental health and my aim is to provide thorough and compassionate care for each patient.”
Dr. Luke Wee
Dr Luke Wee is an Auckland-trained doctor who has worked in various specialties in New Zealand and Australian hospitals. With his warm personality and good attention to detail, he is equipped to address a wide range of health needs.
He offers vasectomy and minor skin surgery, men health assessments and sexual health consults.
Being a keen traveler himself, he is experienced in providing good pre and post-travel checks. He also volunteers as a hospitalist at Mercy Ships in West Africa.
Working alongside with Summerset Karaka and Totara Hospice, he has a special interest and additional training in palliative care.
Dr. Anita Naik
Originally from India, Dr Anita Gautam Naik decided to retrain in General Practice after moving to NZ in 2009. She attained RNZCGP membership in 2014 and became a Fellow in 2018.
Her special interests include mental health, women’s and children’s health. She also holds certificates in Emergency Paediatrics and Contraception and Early Pregnancy.
Besides English, she speaks Hindi, Konkani, Malayalam and also understands Marathi. Outside of work she enjoys Indian Classical music and spending time with family.
Dr. Fei Wu
A vocationally registered GP, Dr Wu had trained in General Practice for many years having spent his formative years in Whanganui, Whangaparoa and Henderson. He has a wide range of clinical skills and would be equipped to meet your clinical needs.
He was the clinical lead in a large practice in Whanganui before moving up to Auckland with his family. He teaches many GP registrars and Nurse Practitioners during that time.
Hailing from Shenyang, Dr Wu speaks fluent English and Mandarin – providing options for his clients. He is warm and approachable, well received by colleagues and patients from all cultures. Dr Fei Wu will be joining us in April 2020.
Dr. Amin Uloom
General Practitioner with special interest in ENT
Dr Amin Uloom is originally from Malaysia and graduated from Auckland Medical School in 2011. Background of multiple surgical specialities with huge passion in ENT, also interested in Multiple surgical specialities and Urgent care.
NP Dhyanne Hohepa is our Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in community and institutional primary care.
She had previously trained In Manurewa before embarking on her Nurse Practitioner training in Karaka and Pokeno, offering you high-quality bespoke primary care. She hails from Te Awamutu with whanau from the Waikato region.
Dhyanne is well versed with all aspects of Family Medicine, with special interest in women and children health and care of the elderly.
